Disability Equality with severely disabled people

They can be treated as severely disabled people if the level of disability found is at least 30 but less than 50. With equality, you basically have the same status as severely disabled people. This means that the same rules apply to you, for example:

  • special protection against dismissal
  • Help for workplace equipment
  • Support by special is provided by specialist services
  • Employment incentives for employers (such as wage cost subsidies)

This does not include additional leave, free transport and special pension requirements.

You may be able to secure your job with equality. This is true if it is endangered, for example, by:

  • frequent absence due to disability
  • less resilience
  • reduced professional and/or regional mobility
