Women's shelters
Women's shelters provide protection, advice, accompaniment and support to all women and their children who are threatened or affected by psychological, physical and/or sexual and domestic violence as well as by stalking (persecution, harassment by advotees). They provide information about the offer of help and point out ways to end the violent processes and provide acute crisis intervention at all times. This offer is also aimed at relatives, caregivers and professional helpers of those affected.
As a rule, women's shelters are run by associations. They are financially supported by public grants.
For security reasons, the addresses of the women's shelters are not published in public directories. Men are generally not allowed to enter.
The employees are subject to confidentiality.
