The location is used to determine the responsible office for the selected administrative service. In most cases you can enter your place of residence to find the competent authority. However, there are also cases in which a different location must be specified. Here are some examples:

Birth certificateYou want to get married and need a birth certificate. You live in Hanover, but you were born in Celle. You must therefore state your place of birth, i.e. Celle.

Business registrationYou would like to register a business in Braunschweig. Your place of residence is Hanover. You must therefore state the location of your future business, i.e. Braunschweig.

Apply for a building permitYou would like to build a house in Wunstorf and therefore apply for a building permit. Her place of residence is currently Hanover. You must indicate the place where the house is to be built. In this case it is Wunstorf.

Winter service

Within the scope of its performance, the winter service must ensure that the roads and pavements continue to be safely passable or walkable in the event of slippery ice and snow by spreading and clearing.

Special notes for - Single Municipality Salzbergen

General information

§ Section 3 of the ordinance on the type, extent and spatial scope of street cleaning in the municipality of Salzbergen regulates winter road maintenance. In snowy and icy conditions, crosswalks and footpaths, including shared cycle paths and footpaths, less than 1 m wide must be kept completely clear, while the others must be kept at least 1 m wide. If there is no footpath, a sufficiently wide strip of at least 1 m next to the roadway or, if there is no side space, at the outermost edge of the roadway must be kept clear. If snow has fallen overnight, cleaning must be completed by 7.30 a.m. at the latest.

The responsibility lies with the municipality, the Joint Community and the city, as far as the winter service in the closed local location is concerned. The clearing and scattering obligation can be transferred to the residents, whereby the transfer must be reasonable.

No documents are required.

There are no fees.

There are no deadlines to be observed.
