Process flow
You can apply for compensation for disadvantages at your university at any time. As a rule, the examination board of the respective subject is responsible.
As compensation for disadvantages is always agreed individually, you should have a discussion with the university before submitting your application. In this meeting, you can explain the areas in which you are impaired and the form in which compensation for disadvantages should be made.
It is also advisable to submit the application before an examination, as your application cannot be approved retroactively. This also means that you cannot contest an examination if you only submit the application afterwards.
Note:
The assessment of the respective facts and the design of appropriate measures depends crucially on the individual case.
What deadlines do I have to pay attention to?
