Which place to enter?

The location is used to determine the responsible office for the selected administrative service. In most cases you can enter your place of residence to find the competent authority. However, there are also cases in which a different location must be specified. Here are some examples:

Birth certificateYou want to get married and need a birth certificate. You live in Hanover, but you were born in Celle. You must therefore state your place of birth, i.e. Celle.

Business registrationYou would like to register a business in Braunschweig. Your place of residence is Hanover. You must therefore state the location of your future business, i.e. Braunschweig.

Apply for a building permitYou would like to build a house in Wunstorf and therefore apply for a building permit. Her place of residence is currently Hanover. You must indicate the place where the house is to be built. In this case it is Wunstorf.

Citizens' telephone for long-term care insurance

On 1 January 2013, the Nursing Care Realignment Act (Pflege-Neuausrichtungs-Gesetz - PNG) came into force in outpatient nursing care with a large number of changes. The long-term care insurance funds and the citizens' hotline on long-term care insurance of the Federal Ministry of Health provide information on the details of the Nursing Care Realignment Act under the telephone number:

Important new regulations are:

1. New care level 0:

Persons with considerably restricted everyday competence receive care allowance and care benefits in kind. This applies in particular to people suffering from dementia with a need for help in the areas of basic care, domestic care and a considerable need for general supervision and care.

In level 0, the monthly care allowance is 120.00 euros. Care benefits in kind are granted up to 225.00 euros per month.

2. increase of the monthly care money:

stage 0: new 120,00 euro
stage 1: from 235,00 euro to 305,00 euro
stage 2: from 440,00 euro to 525,00 euro
stage 3: unchanged: 700,00 euro

3. increase of the monthly care benefits in kind

stage 0: new: 225,00 euro
stage 1: from 450,00 euro to 665,00 euro
stage 2: from 1.100.00 Euro to 1,250.00 Euro
Level 3: unchanged: 1,550.00 Euro

4. Introduction of home careservices

In addition to basic care and domestic care, outpatient care services can now also provide home care services for persons with care levels 0, I and II. Entitlement to home care is conditional on basic care and domestic care being provided in the individual case.

5. Promotion of residential groups

The additional promotion of residential forms between outpatient and inpatient care for the financing of a presence worker is new. An additional 200.00 euros is granted per person in need of care.

A temporary initiative programme for the establishment of outpatient residential groups promotes necessary conversion measures with up to 2,500.00 euros per person or a maximum of 10,000.00 euros per residential group. You can submit an application to your nursing care insurance fund.

6. Increase in the contribution rate

The nursing care insurance contribution will be increased from 1.95% to 2.05%. Childless persons pay a nursing care insurance contribution of 2.3%.

7. Promotion of private nursing care provision

You can apply for a state allowance of 60.00 euros a year to promote your private nursing care provision. Information on this is provided by insurance companies.
