Application for exemption from the training requirement for compulsory members of the Chamber of Architects
All compulsory members of the Lower Saxony Chamber of Architects must undergo further professional training (Section 37 (2) No. 1 NArchtG). This also applies, for example, to longer stays abroad, as long as the registration is maintained, because the use of the professional title enables the assumption of corresponding activities at any time. The quality standards associated with the professional title must therefore be guaranteed.
Exemptions are only possible within a very narrow framework and only for members who do not exercise the profession for special personal reasons, in particular due to parental leave, illness or age. Anyone who fulfills these requirements within the meaning of Section 11 (4) NArchtG will be exempted from the training requirement upon application.
