Commissioning of test engineers for structural analysis for the testing of stability certificates in accordance with building regulations by the building supervisory authorities
Structural engineers carry out building inspection tasks on behalf of the lower building supervisory authorities in their specialist area. They are subject to the technical supervision of the highest building supervisory authority.
Inspection experts for the inspection of technical systems and for earthworks and foundation engineering are commissioned by the client or by third parties on their behalf to carry out inspections/certifications in their specialist area under private law. Within the scope of their duties, they are independent and not bound by instructions.

Inspection engineers: the district administrators and the mayors of the independent and large district cities as lower building supervisory authorities
Requirements
Need to prepare and/or submit a structural engineering certificate (stability) or a certificate (technical installations, earthworks and foundation engineering) confirming compliance with public law requirements
Which documents are required?
If applicable, building documents in accordance with the Building Documents Ordinance
What are the fees?
Costs are incurred in accordance with the building fee schedule
