Which place to enter?

The location is used to determine the responsible office for the selected administrative service. In most cases you can enter your place of residence to find the competent authority. However, there are also cases in which a different location must be specified. Here are some examples:

Birth certificateYou want to get married and need a birth certificate. You live in Hanover, but you were born in Celle. You must therefore state your place of birth, i.e. Celle.

Business registrationYou would like to register a business in Braunschweig. Your place of residence is Hanover. You must therefore state the location of your future business, i.e. Braunschweig.

Apply for a building permitYou would like to build a house in Wunstorf and therefore apply for a building permit. Her place of residence is currently Hanover. You must indicate the place where the house is to be built. In this case it is Wunstorf.

Submit measurement report on continuous measurements of air pollutants in medium-sized combustion plants

If you operate a medium-sized combustion plant, gas turbine or combustion engine plant, you will need to determine pollutant emissions by continuous measurements under certain conditions.

You must prepare a measurement report on the results of the measurements for each calendar year and send it to the immission control authority responsible for you in due time.

  • You are an operator of a medium-sized combustion plant, gas turbine or combustion engine plant.
  • You have put your system into operation.

Costs

Process flow

  • They evaluate the continuous measurements of each calendar year.
  • You create a measurement report on the results.
  • You send the measurement report to the immission control authority responsible for you in due time.

What deadlines do I have to pay attention to?

  • You must submit the measurement report for each calendar year to the responsible immission control authority by 31 March of the following year at the latest.
  • You must keep the measurement report and the records of the measuring instruments for at least 6 years after the end of the respective reporting period.

Appeal

None. The administrative service is a real act against which no legal remedy is possible.

You can use the following website to search for accredited measuring institutes that are suitable for the measuring instruments you use:

  • certify that the installation has been carried out correctly,
  • perform the calibration,
  • check the functionality.

What else should I know?

If you do not submit the measurement report, if you do not submit it correctly, if it is not complete or if you do not submit it on time, you are committing an administrative offence.
