Birth certificateYou want to get married and need a birth certificate. You live in Hanover, but you were born in Celle. You must therefore state your place of birth, i.e. Celle.

Business registrationYou would like to register a business in Braunschweig. Your place of residence is Hanover. You must therefore state the location of your future business, i.e. Braunschweig.

Apply for a building permitYou would like to build a house in Wunstorf and therefore apply for a building permit. Her place of residence is currently Hanover. You must indicate the place where the house is to be built. In this case it is Wunstorf.

Memorials

Memorials are places with a strong connection to a memorable event or a memorable person, which have been structurally or horticulturally transformed into a monument or memorial.

The victims of war and tyranny in Lower Saxony are commemorated by a large number of memorials - mostly at authentic places of human rights violations.
Exhibitions in the individual institutions are intended to convey the concrete forms of human rights violations and to illustrate the suffering of the victims as far as possible.

In addition, the graves of the victims of war and tyranny are memorials against the war and against the destruction it causes . They can be found in many municipalities in Lower Saxony.
