Children's passport report for theft
Please note: From 1 January 2024, it will no longer be possible to apply for a children's passport. Children under the age of 12 also need a regular passport if they plan to travel outside the European Union. The previously available children's passport will no longer be available from 1 January 2024. Children's passports issued before this date remain valid until the expiry date.
The theft of a child's passport must be reported to the competent authority.
Who should I contact?
The responsibility lies with the municipality, the joint municipality and the city. Regardless of this, the police can also be informed.
