Educational project "Creating transparency - from the shop counter to the producer" Funding
The aim of the "Creating Transparency" measure is to enable and support farmers and companies in the food sector to establish contacts, to get to know consumer expectations and to familiarise themselves with their production methods and products among consumers as well as in their regional environment, as well as to establish a dialogue between producers or processors of food and consumers, which provides stakeholders with in-depth knowledge of consumer expectations, which can be used to develop new skills and which also identifies opportunities for diversifying agricultural activities.
Regional education providers should network the actors in rural regions, promote their cooperation and support them in offering information and education on the subject of "environment, agriculture and nutrition", especially for young consumers.
With the help of a network of companies in the agriculture and food industry as well as other regional learning locations, direct contacts with this economic sector and its actors are to be made possible through the event participants' own experiences. Communication structures are established both among the actors and with the consumers of their products. This should contribute to the development of synergies and promote feasible opportunities for diversification of agricultural activities into activities in the educational field "Environment, Agriculture and Food" as well as networking activities.
