Exemptions on Sundays and public holidays
Anyone who operates a travel business must generally comply with the provisions of the Shop Closing Time Act (LadSchlG) and the Lower Saxony Public Holidays Act (NFeiertagsG). An exception to the Sunday and public holiday rest applies to the offering (offering for sale) of goods as well as to hospitality activities in the travel industry. In addition, the exemptions apply to self-employed traders who visit other persons in the course of their business operations.
Further exemptions must be expressly permitted upon written request by the competent authority.

Fees are charged in accordance with Annex 1 to § 1 paragraph 1 of the General Fee Schedule of the State of Lower Saxony (AllGO) in accordance with No. 40.1.22.7.

Who should I contact?
The responsibility lies with the municipality, the joint municipality and the city in which the habitual residence is.
This procedure can also be handled by a "Point of Single Contact". The "Point of Single Contact" is a special service offered by the municipalities and the state for service providers.
