Exclusion from European election
You can be excluded from participating in the European elections under certain conditions.
If you have German citizenship, this is the case if you no longer have the right to vote due to a court decision.
The same applies to you if you are a citizen of the Union. In addition, you may then lose your right to vote due to a civil or criminal court decision in your country of origin.

Process flow
The exclusion from the European election is carried out as follows:
- the courts send relevant judgments to the municipal administration,
- the municipal administration records the exclusion from the right to vote in the population register.
