Correcting the electoral roll for the European elections
If the electoral roll for the European elections contains incorrect information or is incomplete, you can have this corrected. From the 20th day before the election (= start of the inspection period), this is only possible on the basis of an objection or ex officio.
The objection is only possible until the 16th day before the election (= end of the inspection period). It must be submitted in writing or recorded in writing to the municipality of residence. The
municipality decides on the objection up to the 10th day before the election. An appeal against the decision is possible within two days of notification.
The municipality may correct the electoral roll at any time if it is obviously incorrect or incomplete.
The electoral roll is closed no later than the day before the election.
Requirements
- Insofar as the electoral roll proves to be incorrect, the electoral roll shall be corrected.
- Insofar as an entitlement to vote can be proven despite a missing entry, the electoral roll shall be supplemented accordingly.

You will have the electoral roll for the European elections corrected as follows
as follows:
- After inspection, you discover an error in the electoral roll or you are not registered although you are entitled to vote.
- You lodge an objection and provide appropriate evidence to support the facts.
- The authority corrects the electoral roll or sends a rejection notice. In the case of subsequent registration, you will receive an election notification.
