Which place to enter?

The location is used to determine the responsible office for the selected administrative service. In most cases you can enter your place of residence to find the competent authority. However, there are also cases in which a different location must be specified. Here are some examples:

Birth certificateYou want to get married and need a birth certificate. You live in Hanover, but you were born in Celle. You must therefore state your place of birth, i.e. Celle.

Business registrationYou would like to register a business in Braunschweig. Your place of residence is Hanover. You must therefore state the location of your future business, i.e. Braunschweig.

Apply for a building permitYou would like to build a house in Wunstorf and therefore apply for a building permit. Her place of residence is currently Hanover. You must indicate the place where the house is to be built. In this case it is Wunstorf.

Game Warden Confirmation

At the request of the person entitled to hunt, the hunting authority may confirm qualified game wardens as entitled to hunt protection. Full-time game wardens should be professional hunters or trained in forestry.

Confirmed game wardens are generally responsible for the same hunting protection tasks in the hunting district for which they are confirmed, as they are incumbent on the person entitled to hunt. In general, hunting protection includes the protection of game, in particular from poachers, food shortages, game diseases, poaching dogs and cats, as well as ensuring compliance with the regulations issued for the protection of game and hunting.

Requirements

The game wardens to be confirmed must:

  • be entitled to hunt or be appointed by a person entitled to hunt under private law for hunting protection,
  • be able to lease hunting and have a hunting license, as well as
  • ensure that they do not abuse their powers.

Which documents are required?

  • Application of the person entitled to hunt
  • Certificate from the recognized state hunters' association or the association of game wardens about successful participation in a game warden course
  • Proof of completed vocational training as a hunting ground hunter or forestry training
  • Proof of hunting lease eligibility
