Apply for a certificate of notification of death
If you cannot be issued a death certificate after notification of a death due to missing data or evidence, you can have the death report certified.
This certificate serves as proof that you have complied with your duty to notify.
With the certificate you can prove the proper notification of the death. The report is a prerequisite for the burial of the deceased person.

- You must report the death to the registry office in whose district the death occurred.
- The certification of the death must be postponed by the competent registry office due to missing information or evidence.
- Only the person who reported the death can apply for the certificate
