After the occurrence of an insured event, the accident insurance institutions have the task of restoring your ability to work by all appropriate means.
Treatment can be provided on an outpatient or inpatient basis.
You will receive all benefits that are necessary for your care. This includes, for example
- Medical treatment
- Nursing care
- Supply of medicines, dressings, remedies and aids
- Treatment in hospitals and rehabilitation facilities
Health impairments that require special accident medical treatment are treated in special facilities.
All these services are coordinated in a targeted manner with the treating doctors, physiotherapists and you as part of rehabilitation management and are supervised by the rehabilitation manager of the responsible accident insurance institution.
