Conservatorship
A conservatorship may be established for:
-
the determination of paternity, or
-
the recovery of child maintenance.
Which documents are required?
- the parent who has sole parental authority,
- in the case of parents who have joint parental authority, the parent with whom the child lives;
- the expectant mother (or her representative if the mother is legally incapacitated) if the child has not yet been born.
What deadlines do I have to pay attention to?
Upon receipt of the application, the Youth Welfare Office immediately assists the child.
The conservatorship ends as soon as the applicant requests this in writing.
