The children's passport is available from the competent authority where it was applied for.

The child must be present at the application for a child's passport for identity verification purposes. If it cannot be present, only a provisional document will be issued at first. However, at the latest when the provisional document is issued, an identity check must be carried out by the competent authority, otherwise the passport will not be handed over.
