Law firm obligation under the Federal Lawyers' Regulations Exemption
In the interests of the administration of justice or in order to avoid hardship, the competent authority may exempt a lawyer from the obligation to take a chance under Section 29 of the Federal Lawyers' Code (BRAO).
The bar is responsible for this.
This procedure can also be carried out through a "single point of contact". The "Single Contact Person" is a special service offered by the municipalities and the country for service providers.

- Disease
- Old age
- Training abroad
- Establishment of a law firm exclusively in another state – unless overriding interests prevent the administration of justice
No documents are required.
Fees are charged according to the fee statutes of the competent body.
No deadlines need to be observed.
