The early warning system is available to all citizens with internet access: you can find out about the development of water levels under www.nlwkn.de. The Lower Saxony State Water Management, Coastal and Nature Conservation Agency (NLWKN) provides the values of 50 levels at important Lower Saxon inland waters such as Leine, Aller, Hunte, Hase or Jeetzel. A new technique ensures that the data is now updated every 60 minutes if necessary - i.e. in the event of flooding.
