The regulations of the Lower Saxony Building Code (NBauO) also apply to the removal of structural installations (demolition).

With the exception of high-rise buildings or a part of a building which is not listed in the Annex to the Lower Saxony Building Code (NBauO), the demolition or removal of a building site does not require notification. High-rise buildings or a part of a structural installation not mentioned in the annex to the NBauO must be notified to the competent authority in accordance with Section 60 (3) NBauO.

Irrespective of this, the stability of neighbouring buildings must be checked by the client if they are built together or if the building site gives rise to this.
