Technical assistance related to nuclear installations in certain non-EU countries: Approval

If the applicant is aware that a technical assistance which he or she wishes to provide is intended for the above-the-spot purpose, he or she shall inform the competent authority; it decides whether the technical assistance is subject to authorisation.
Technical assistance may not be provided until the competent body has approved the technical assistance or has decided that it is not required to be approved.
The responsibility lies with the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA).
This procedure can also be carried out through a "single point of contact". The "Single Contact Person" is a special service offered by the municipalities and the country for service providers.
