Certificate of proficiency according to the Explosives Act
The certificate of competence for handling and/or traffic with explosive substances in accordance with § 20 of the Explosives Act (SprengG) is only issued on request. It may be limited in content, limited in time and, even retrospectively, subject to conditions.
Persons who work in the field of mining, please note the certificate of competence according to the Explosives Act for companies under mining supervision.
Who should I contact?
The responsibility lies with the State Labour Inspectorate.
This procedure can also be handled through a "point of single contact". The "Point of Single Contact" is a special service offered by the municipalities and the state for service providers.
Requirements
- They are
- a natural person,
- reliable
- knowledgeable and
- personally suitable.
- You have reached the age of 21.
- You are a German or AN EU citizen.
Which documents are required?
- completed form "Application for the issuance of a certificate of competence according to § 20 of the Act on Explosive Substances (SprengG)"
What are the fees?
The amount of the fees results - according to Annex 1 to § 1 paragraph 1 General Fee Schedule of the State of Lower Saxony No. 29.1.13 - depending on time required. However, a minimum of EUR 70.00 and a maximum of EUR 1,000.00 will be charged.
What deadlines do I have to pay attention to?
The certificate of competence is usually issued for a period of five years.
