Training event for the acquisition of expertise according to the Chemicals Ozone Layer Regulation: Recognition

According to § 5 paragraph 1 of the Chemical Ozone Layer Ordinance (ChemOzonSchichtV), anyone wishing to carry out certain work on facilities or devices containing ozone-depleting substances must meet personal requirements for certain work. The required expertise is proven, among other things, by participation in a training event.

This training event must be recognised by the competent authority.

Who should I contact?

The responsibility lies with the State Trade Supervisory Office Celle.

This procedure can also be carried out through a "Point of Single Contact". The "Point of Single Contact" is a special service offered by municipalities and the state for service providers.

Requirements

A training course to be recognised must provide the knowledge required for the respective area of responsibility. This includes knowledge of:

  • Plant engineering,
  • the relevant regulations, directives and generally accepted rules of technology, and
  • the essential properties of the substances and preparations/mixtures concerned and the hazards associated with their use are communicated.

There are fees according to Annex 1 to § 1 paragraph 1 General Fee Schedule of the State of Lower Saxony (AllGO) according to No. 21.6.1.
