European Lawyer Admission for shorter periods of activity
Anyone who can prove that they have worked effectively and regularly as a European lawyer in private practice in Germany for at least three years, but has only been active in German law for a shorter period of time, will be admitted to the bar in accordance with the provisions of §§ 6 to 36 of the Federal Lawyers' Act (BRAO).
- List of cases pursuant to §§ 14, 12 of the Act on the Activities of European Lawyers in Germany (EuRAG) with information on file number, subject matter, period, type and scope of the activity, status of the cases handled by the applicant in German law
- Proof of professional indemnity insurance
- Proof that the ability to continue to carry out the activity by submitting case lists (proof of the number and type of cases dealt with under German law) and in an interview
Fees are charged in accordance with the fee regulations of the competent authority. Please contact the competent authority.

This procedure can also be carried out through a "Point of Single Contact". The "Point of Single Contact" is a special service offered by municipalities and the state for service providers.
