Sworn Accountants Recognition
Certified accountants must be recognised by the competent authority in order to be able to practise their profession. Recognition shall at the same time constitute membership of the competent authority. This is mandatory. A sworn accountant is entered in the professional register of the competent authority.

The responsibility lies with the Chamber of Auditors.
This procedure can also be carried out through a "Point of Single Contact". The "Point of Single Contact" is a special service offered by municipalities and the state for service providers.

What are the fees?
In addition to a fee for recognition, members are obliged to pay an annual fee to the competent authority. The amount of the contribution varies from person to person and is determined by the competent authority.
What deadlines do I have to pay attention to?
Recognition must be applied for at the competent authority no later than one year after passing the examination to become a sworn accountant.
