Report new management to the Chamber of Crafts
Changes in the management of a craft business subject to approval must be reported to the Chamber of Crafts. The management of a craft business must have the professional prerequisites for the exercise of the craft subject to licensing. This can be a master craftsman's certificate for the respective craft, but also an equivalent domestic or foreign professional qualification or an exemption permit or authorisation to practice.
Both the owners of a craft business and employees can be considered as business managers. In the latter case, the application for registration must be submitted together with a manager's declaration and supporting documents.
The tasks of the plant management include, among other things,
- to control, supervise and monitor the technical workflow and not to limit itself to the mere control of the work result,
- to manage workers and to make the necessary arrangements,
- prevent and, if necessary, correct deficiencies in the execution of the work,
- to ensure that there are no violations of legal provisions or operating instructions,
- to go regularly to the individual workplaces in order to supervise the execution of the work,
- be available at all times during working hours and be available and ready for action at short notice in urgent and emergency situations.
Who should I contact?
You must contact the local Chamber of Crafts.
This procedure can also be carried out through a "Point of Single Contact". The "Point of Single Contact" is a special service offered by the municipalities and the state for service providers.
