Which place to enter?

The location is used to determine the responsible office for the selected administrative service. In most cases you can enter your place of residence to find the competent authority. However, there are also cases in which a different location must be specified. Here are some examples:

Birth certificateYou want to get married and need a birth certificate. You live in Hanover, but you were born in Celle. You must therefore state your place of birth, i.e. Celle.

Business registrationYou would like to register a business in Braunschweig. Your place of residence is Hanover. You must therefore state the location of your future business, i.e. Braunschweig.

Apply for a building permitYou would like to build a house in Wunstorf and therefore apply for a building permit. Her place of residence is currently Hanover. You must indicate the place where the house is to be built. In this case it is Wunstorf.

Notification of the use of plant protection products for others


Anyone who wishes to use plant protection products for others – except occasional neighbourly assistance – or to advise others on plant protection for commercial purposes or in the context of other economic undertakings must notify the authority responsible for the place of business and the place of activity before commencing the activity.

The use of plant protection products in occasional neighbourhood assistance is not notifiable.

Who should I contact?

The responsibility lies with the Chamber of Agriculture of Lower Saxony.

This procedure can also be carried out through a "Point of Single Contact". The "Point of Single Contact" is a special service offered by municipalities and the state for service providers.

Requirements

The use of plant protection products for others must be notified to the competent authority before commencing activity.

Changes in personnel using plant protection products for others shall be notified immediately to the competent authority.

A further prerequisite is that the user is knowledgeable within the meaning of § 9 PflSchG.

Applications / forms

The completed notification form (form for notification of the use of plant protection products for others) must be accompanied by a copy of the certificate of competence on both sides.

Copies of the certificate of competence (credit card) on both sides must be attached.

Process flow

Anyone who uses plant protection products for others in Lower Saxony – with the exception of occasional neighbourly help – must notify the Plant Protection Office of the LWK Niedersachsen as the competent authority before commencing activity, i.e. register.

It is necessary to provide the following information:

  • Information on the establishment using plant protection products for others
  • Information on responsible persons of the company
  • Names and addresses of the qualified person(s) on the establishment using plant protection products for others
  • Information on the type of establishment and the intended activity

After notification, you will receive a written confirmation of the notification and registration.

What deadlines do I have to pay attention to?

Deletion after completion of processing with a notice period of 15 years.
